LiDAR Technology

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is a remote sensing technology that uses laser light to measure distances and create highly accurate, three-dimensional models of objects, terrain, or environments. It works by emitting laser pulses, which reflect off surfaces and return to a sensor. By measuring the time it takes for the pulses to return, LiDAR calculates the distance between the sensor and the objects being scanned.
